Philosophy

To be an Artist is to be in search of what is true and good in life, consenting to one’s natural ability expressing Emotional Sincerity, Rhythmic Energy, and Imaginative Beauty with joy and gratitude in order to share it with others.

Method

My method is lyrical, poetic, and realistic where all contact is direct and unrepeatable. Each piece reveals working in moment of creating. My work embodies the representational method in integrating the symbolic, impressionist, and expressionist schools with my vision rooted in the classics.

Teaching

As an Instructor, Mentor and Coach I have dedicated my career, sharing my expertise in the canon and foundations of the Academy and Impressionists, teaching artists - beginners to advanced -  the technical and creative skills needed to express their visual poetry and passion to become more of who they are.
